Our story

Corporate software was built for companies.

The Church isn’t a company.

  1. 2010

    We start building software.

    Fivable began building custom software for organizations with ambitious ideas. Over the years, more and more of that work came from the Church: dioceses and archdioceses that needed technology to fit the way they actually work.

  2. 2018

    Bridgeport brings us a challenge.

    The Diocese of Bridgeport needed to form and certify hundreds of ministry volunteers across its parishes, every year. They had tried the big names in corporate learning and asked us to make one of them work for the Church.

    It never did. Those systems didn’t understand dioceses and parishes, pastors and catechists, or why leadership needs to know the moment someone is certified.

  3. 2020

    So we built it from scratch.

    We told them they would never be happy with a tool that didn’t understand the Church, so we built one that does. LEAD launched with the Church’s structure in its foundation: dioceses, parishes, programs, mentors, and the leaders who need to know.

  4. Today

    Our flagship, and our focus.

    LEAD now serves archdioceses from New York to Los Angeles, national ministries, and Catholic universities, on the web and in native apps for iPhone and Android. And it keeps teaching us how to build better software for the Church.
